 St James' URC is delighted to be able to welcome you to the following services this Easter:
Good Friday, 29 March 2024 10:30am Easter Sunday, 31 March 2024 10:30am Easter reminds us that life never ends and love never dies... Please come along and enjoy an afternoon of music and song, with mulled wine and mince pies.
 Both the former Ray Lodge and Woodford Green URCs have now been sold. We are delighted that they will become the home for new Christian congregations.
You can still worship with us at Chingford URC and St James' URC in Buckhurst Hill. All welcome.
Here is an overview of who will be leading our services on specific dates at Chingford URC and St James' URC from July to September 2022.  Woodford Green URC held a sad but joyful last service on 30 June with a good congregation of friends and past members.
The building, and that of the former Ray Lodge URC, are being sold by URC Thames North Synod. It was with great sadness that the members of the church agreed/ voted at a meeting on 10 January 2022 that they were no longer a viable congregation of the United Reformed Church and therefore would cease worship in the summer (probably the end of June 2022).
The effect of this is that the buildings become the property of URC Thames North Synod who will decide the future of the buildings, including a possible sale on the open market. Here is an overview of who will be leading our services on specific dates at St James', Chingford and Woodford Green.  |
