May we take this opportunity to send everyone love and best wishes. We will miss the various Christmas events across the Forest Group that we enjoyed over the years. The memory of Mona in an elf costume at the Christmas Fayre is with us still!
Jane transferred from Sue Ryder Chingford to Sue Ryder Moreton just down the road and is even trusted to open Mondays on her own!!She also tries to help homeless people and rough sleepers in Birkenhead. Health-wise she's pretty good, thankfully. I volunteer at a Foodbank distribution centre which works with vulnerable adults in central Birkenhead, and I'm a reader and assistant editor with Wirral Talking Newspapers. Tim now leads the university and community modules for the Faith and Belief Forum (formerly the Three Faiths Forum ), and is involved with the summer event Birmingham PHAB lays on in the Lake District where wheelchair users and others get to do unusual things. It has been good to have a quieter year in terms of preaching, but at the end of December our lovely minister here is taking early retirement to support his wife in coping with significant medical issues in the family. So next year we are taking quite a few services between us. Laura is lovely, loves running in the sand dunes with doggy friends but in some ways is a typical accident prone mature greyhound - keeping the vets busy. Love from us both, Richard and Jane Comments are closed.
