On Sunday, 7th October, after a ‘Messy Church’ morning service, members of Woodford Green were joined by many friends from the other Forest Group churches and the Woodford community to enjoy an afternoon of fun in the church and car park.
It truly was an all-age fun day with lots of food, games and a bouncy castle. It was a little chilly but the sun shone as we rolled pennies, hooked ducks and the littlest ones enjoyed their singing games. The bouncy castle was a great hit but undoubtedly it was the making of ‘slime’ that drew the crowds of youngsters! All the money raised and the gifts of food will go to help the local food banks. Thanks must go to our friends from the Guides and Brownies and especially Luke Lowry and Red Balloon for all their help. Comments are closed.
